North America is a vast and geographically varied continent, home to a rich tapestry of cultures, languages, and landscapes. Stretching from the Arctic in the north to the tropical regions of Central America and the Caribbean, it includes some of the world’s largest economies as well as smaller nations with distinct histories and traditions. We can see that Canada has maintained the highest life expectancy in North America from 2000 to 2015 while Haiti has maintained the lowest. Additionally we see that there has been a gradual increase in life expectancy in North American countries over the course of the 15 years and most of the most of the countries boast a life expectancy of over 70 years.

We can see a general correlation of life expectancy increasing as GDP per capita increases however we still see countries with a relatively low GDP per capita have high life expectancies such as Cuba and Costa Rica.

We can see the only developed country in North America is the United States and that it has a relatively higher life expectancy than most other countries in North America.
