I’m Aryan Patel, a student at the University of Notre Dame studying computer science.
I’m interested in problem solving, theory-driven coursework, and building tools that are robust, clear, and impactful.
I enjoy studying computer science through a mathematical lens, especially topics that reward careful reasoning and precise thinking. While I appreciate the theoretical side, I also aim to apply these concepts by building tools, programs, and projects that solve real problems. This site is where I document that process through notes, projects, and coursework.
Outside of academics, I enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors. The highest peak I’ve summited so far is Mount Elbert (14,440 ft / 4,401 m) in Colorado.
I also do recreational writing on Substack: read here.
